We are able to work in a variety of mobile locations throughout the United Kingdom.
Polish (and also 'compounds'), are a blend of oils and micro abrasives that when combined with a machine polisher, break down under heat and pressure to remove paint defects. This is a 'correction' stage and offers no protection.
Wax works to temporarily seal the finished surface by forming a thin barrier on top of the paintwork. Wax offers no cleaning or corrective abilities and importantly it offers no protection from chemicals and abrasion as it is purely a cosmetic product.
Ceramic coatings are used to prove a significant level of protection against abrasion, acidic attack etc (bird lime, brake dust, atmospheric contaminants etc) that are present in the every day life of a vehicle, bike, boat or indeed anywhere! They improve gloss and colour depth, incomparable to anything else. When properly maintained, the finish will shine and continue to be protected for many years to come. The slickness of the coated surface does not allow dirt, brake dust and tar to bond to the surface upon which it is applied (paint, wheels, glass etc). A true PROFESSIONAL ceramic coating is so slick and resistant to dirt, contamination and chemicals that contaminants can be removed with less aggressive and damaging wash methods. Washing the vehicle becomes less labour intensive and needed less frequently. Ceramic on your vehicle can permanently protect the exterior and interior from deteriorating over time. This will help to maintain the condition and value of the asset.
We use a variety of chemicals, compounds and such like to perform a variety of functions. We have only and will only ever use tried, tested and proven ,specifically designed products of the highest quality and we do this based upon our experience of how well these can perform the task required. We avoid using harsh chemicals which will actually cause long term damage (as used by car wash and local 'hand' wash outfits). The products we use are all from reputable high end manufacturers tested and approved around the world. We do not use anything we would not use on our personal vehicles.
Detailing is the next step in vehicle care. It is a term used (and often misused) to describe the intricate, often obsessive (well, we are at least!) way in which a vehicle is cleaned, enhanced, protected or maintained. It can involve rectifying paint defects that may be present (which could amount to scratches, stains in paintwork for bird lime, water spotting etc) cleaning of plastic, chrome or rubber trims to enhance condition, restoring of faded plastics, leather cleaning and renovation, cleaning of engine bays, wheels and calipers etc. Basically if it can be seen it should be clean! This can often (dependant upon the job at hand and client's requirements), take many hours or even days. The aim of detailing is to then preserve or protect the vehicle or surface to ensure its longevity in looking the best it can.
Put simply, yes! The detailing of a vehicle not only ensures it is the best it can be, but it enables all future cleaning and detailing works to be done with greater ease for a longer term gain, whether that be at home yourself or by a professional such as ourselves. Also, once your vehicle is detailed this will help to maintain its desirability and value. This can especially be important not only on classic, rare or valuable vehicles but also on modern vehicles too. A professional detail if you are selling your vehicle can often lead to it being more desirable over the competition and you gaining the best price too!
We work on a range of vehicles - bikes and boats, classic cars, modern sports and supercars. We treat every client and vehicle with the same dedication and respect offering the same quality of service to all.
Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can advise further.
Absolutely! In our experience, a new vehicle is often in need of detailing in order to make it the best it should be. The added advantage is that you know your investment is then protected in the best way it can be from day one, which helps with future detailing and preservation and holding its resale value and desirability.
We are not a 'smart' repairer or bodyshop and as such do not offer these services performed by ourselves. However, we have close links with experienced and established bodyshops and classic vehicle restorers who are more than capable of taking on any work required. In addition we are able to arrange the repair of alloy wheels for you whilst we are in care of your vehicle.
